How do we build our summer house?

Every summer house is different and is built tailored to your needs and  requirements. We always quote the full cost of the build before you agree for us to begin work, so no nasty surprises.

Making sure you have the perfect space is key to summer house. We are proud to be able to offer a wide range of choices and finishes ensuring that we can create rooms to suit most budgets and requirements.

When you choose summer house, we will visit the property and working with you, will go through exactly what your requirements are to create your dream garden room. 

Summer houses are designed to be constructed within local authority permitted development however there may be times when you may require planning permission. For example, if you live in a conservation area. Our team will work with you and the local authority to ensure that the necessary permission is obtained before we start construction.

We strive to make sure that your summer house experience is as hassle free as possible.

Usually our summer house take approximately 2 weeks to build with the minimum amount of inconvenience to you.

Installation Requirements - What we need you to do.

1. Please ensure that a suitable base is provided for the building you have ordered, which must be firm and level and with no obstructions i.e. trees, objects or anything that will encroach on the working space.

2. The base must be level and must be a minimum of the size of the floor of the building.

IF YOU HAVE ORDERED A SHED BASE PLEASE ENSURE THE GROUND ON WHICH YOU WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THE BASE LAYED CONTAINS NO OBSTRUCTIONS EG. FREE OF UNDERGROUND PIPES.

3. Please check that access to your garden will allow a clear passage for installers and product. Please ensure that the installation team have suitable space to park their vehicle.

4. Health and Safety and insurance liabilities prevent us from entering your property for access and should you live in a flat we will only be able to deliver the building and will have to abort the installation.

5. To ensure that the product is installed in the correct location and to your satisfaction is it important that you are available when the installation team arrive and when they have finished the building. The installation team will ask you to sign a customer satisfaction form. You should note on this form any problems that you have with the building at this point. If problems haven’t been noted at this point and a re-visit is required to resolve the problem you will be charged a call out fee.
